Not much at all. We apply a fast-acting 10.56% lidocaine numbing cream before treatment, and the DP4's ultra-fine needles and adjustable depth make it far more comfortable than older devices. Most clients describe only a mild tingling or light prickling.

Expect redness and mild sensitivity similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours. Skip makeup and harsh skincare for the first 24–48 hours, use gentle hydrating products, and wear SPF daily — especially under Flagstaff's high-altitude sun.
