VI Peel BODY

VI Peel Body treatments stimulate anti-aging collagen and increase cellular turnover. Helps address troubled areas to reveal smoother, more radiant skin in just one treatment.

The skin on the body is 2-3 times as thick as the skin on the face. VI Peel has created a unique proprietary ingredient complex with potent actives that go beyond the reach of traditional topical alone. 

Your VI PEEL treatment will be performed in spa by a licensed professional, with VI PEEL training certification.  The skin will be cleansed and prepared with a degreasing solution to strip any natural oils to allow maximum peel absorption.  The peel will be applied in layers, waiting a few moments in between each application.  5-7 layers of the medium-depth peel will be applied.  The peel is self-neutralizing and will be left on the skin.  You will need to follow instructions carefully over the next 7 days to ensure the best results of your treatment.  We will make sure you have everything you need!

Reactions and results will vary from person to person.  The degree of peeling will also vary.   Unlike a facial peel, the "peeling" will be more like flakes instead of "sheets" normally associated with chemical peels. The body takes longer to peel so most individuals will notice flaking on day 5-7 post-treatment, with peeling up to 10 days post-treatment. Consider other exfoliating treatments or rejuvenation procedures that you may have already received or incorporated into your daily routine.  Even if "peeling" is not as evident, you can be sure that your peel is still working to lift pigment, target acne, and reverse the signs of aging!
